Hmm. At this stage if you found that this original exe does not work. The easier way i could suggest is un-install and reinstall everything. Even this might take up long time but this is the most stable step to upgrade.

1.Install Warcraft3.
2.Install Frozen Throne.
3.Upgrade Patch to 1.20e.
4.Crack it with no cd crack.

1. Replace the war3.exe with the original file
2. Upgrade the blizzard patch, make sure upgrade without error.
3. Copy nocd crack to warcraft folder.

Then your should enjoy the game.

Another easier way is reinstall everything, even it might take some time, but it work for most the cases and stable.

1. UnInstall
2. Install W3 and etx FT
3. Apply patch 1.20e
4. Crack with no cd crack.

my image files won’t work for me…
i don’t have nay problems when playing/opening reign of chaos, but when i installed the frozen throne, it stated that there is a CD Rom drive error even if i emulated the image file using daemon..

hey, after downloading and applying war3.exe when i tried to run my FT the error message that came up was the ‘ordinal 570 could not be located in the dynamic link library storm.dll’. After this another message came up about CD-ROM drive. I use daemon tools and TFT.mds file is fine. What should i do, now? Can you post a storm.dll original file for download plz, it could be a script/patch error between the programms.

uhm mr penguin i have the 1.11 patch because its small enough to download quickly.wen i patch it worked but it says tat i should hav the frozen throne cd in my drive…is it maybe because my cd aint the original frozen throne cd cause its so cheap and comes withh a crack.and what do i do to the war3.org anyway?and y is there programs in my warcraft ft folder that hav names like war3 and it is larger than my executable of frozen throne?(1.42 mb while the icon exe. of ft is just 268)

Recently played Warcraft III at a friend’s dorm and loved it!
I’m a poor college girl lol so I decided to download Reign f Chaos and The Frozen Throne on limewire.
I installed it and entered the cd key from the keygen.
Everything went well until I tried to play.
I got the message so many of you received.

to those with th problem..can’t detect the CD in the CD rom drve..try copying the crack from the CD installer and then paste it in the location of your warcraft 3.usually C:\program Files\Warcraft III..then copy and replace if you are prompted to do so..

I was trying to patch my Frozen Throne to 1.21 but my war3.exe was corrupted so here’s what I did…..

1. I resetted all the important exe back to version 1

2. Use the “Version 1.21 Universal Patch”

Scroll down for it. It’s about 50mb. It patches any version to 1.21 (ie. 1.00 to 1.21)

Then I patched with http://www.eurobattle.net/ to play on a private battle net server.

Hi, I reformatted my computer and lost all. I reinstalled warcraft 3 but when I go on battle.net it downloads/updates. When it done it tells me to restart wc3 so I do and it says “The Program was unable to find the files for patching” D:\Program Files\Warcraft III\War3x.mpq Patch Failed” How do I fix this? Also this is the same for WC3 TFT!!! I can’t play either of them please help me! :*(, thanks.

umm i hav a war3 problem wif the new patch 1.22 when i dl the patch through the game from clikin b.net after i dl it sed 2 restart war3 so i did but thn it wouldnt open

Frozen Throne was unable to find War3.exe

and tht war3.exe is in the folder and i hav the cd’s they arnt copys

PLZ GUYS! LISTEN UP!:P I Cant play warcraft3 TFT I dont know why! Since the day before yesterday i wanted to lgo in to Battle.NET then a window showed up and was saying `DOWNLOADING UPDATES` ok i ve been waiting for 30 min to finish and when it finished, then another message showed up and was saying `DOWNLOAD WAS SUCCESSFUL` and a box was saying to restart War3 TFT to play. I pressed it and when it restarted i couldnt play war3 it was saying `War3.exe dint found`and `PLZ CHECK THE CD IF IT IS IN YOUR CD-ROM` and `THE REINSTALL WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM` well i reinstalled the game 6 fuckin times and nothing happened then me and my dad spent 2 days trying to fix it. We have done 5 formats:P but nothing changed PLZ SOMEBODY HELP!

why my warcraft 3 frozen throne failed to update?help me pls…i tried many times uninstalling and reinstalling it but the same problem still occur
everytime i tried to update the same problem will occur:
ERROR: unable to apply patch to file ‘C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\game.dll’

ERROR: unable to apply patch to file ‘C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Storm.dll’

ERROR: unable to apply patch to file ‘C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\war3.exe’

RESULT: Patch failed

This is how you do it:

1.) I download Warcraft III from mininova.org using my porgram “utorrent”.
2.) I extract my files(downloaded files) to another folder that I created.
3.) I install the game.
4.) When I launch it, it won’t work. It says “Make sure your CD is in the CD-ROM…”
5.) I downloaded the war3.exe here.
6.) From the downloads folder, I copied the war3.exe to my Warcraft III folder in the Program Files.
7.) I upgraded my patch to 1.20e from 1.18.
8.) I launched the game again, and it says “The dynamic.dll can’t be found…”
9.) I downloaded storm.dll from another site, and I copied my storm.dll and the war3.exe(downloaded from this site) to Warcraft III folder in the program files.
10.) I launched the game. Cinematic.
11.) I enjoyed it.
